I Believe To Be A Good Writer

I believe to be a good writer because all my writing is well sequenced. I say this because I introduce my paragraphs in the order in which my topic is being discussed. I also believe to be a good writer because I put my own views as well as the views of those who disagree with me into my essay. This year I took a course Composition and Research and this class has helped me improved my writing skills. These are all the reasons I believe to be a good writer.

Starting Again- part two

If you had your first semester to do over again, what would you do differently? I have often asked myself this question and now that the semester has ended I know the answer. First and foremost I would have not procrastinated. I would have taken work more seriously and studied in advanced in addition to getting to class on time. All these traits are good for any student but for some reason it does not get done.
Procrastinating is the number one mistake I found myself doing this first semester. This is a bad habit I have always done from middle school to high school and now college. I strongly believe that my mentally functions better when I am under pressure and a time limit. I always know the deadlines of homework, projects, etc but I find myself pushing it aside and doing other things. The funny thing is that I don’t go out dancing and drinking while I have work to do, I just don’t seen to have enough time to get things done.
I am a morning person, so once I am up I can not get knocked down. All my classes this semester are 8:00 A.M. Being on time for anything especially a class is very important. This demonstrates what kind of person you are and it also shows how responsible and dedicated one is. I wake up every morning with no fuss but, I manage to be 5, 10 or even 15 minutes late to almost all my classes. On top of everything being early to class will benefit me, I often find me missing significant announcements every time I walk in late to class. I know this is college and the professors do not harass students about tardiness but, it is disrespectful.
The most important part I would perform differently would be my study habits. When it comes to testes the information that was put into my head blanks out. I know this happens because I study at the last minute. I try to shove all the information all at one time and it just back fires. I must take time to look over notes, old quizzes/ tests after the class and every night. I must go to tutoring which I did not attend this semester. And ask lots of questions.
Being in college is no joke and I know see that to continue I have to keep up. The funny thing about everything is that I know what I had to do and what I should change but I never do it. I still procrastinate and I don’t study in advance. In order to have a secure entry in the Nursing Program I am obligated to perfect my performance. All I have written down does not make a difference because this first semester is over and I cannot do it over again. Although I should have changed my ways in the beginning I do not regret anything because I have put a little effort in my studies.

Classes

College life could be want you expect, what you don’t expect and even more. When a person steps into college they are entering a new world full of choices. Your mother, father, sister, etc are not the ones making these choices, you are. Among many choices one faces in college, classes are the most important of them all. Waking up in the morning, overachieving in academics, and the responsibility of taking the required courses are all choices to think about.
Staying out all night on a school night drinking, smoking, dancing or just chilling are some of the many temptations in college. Along with the headache and hangover the next morning, comes the failing grade. Forcing yourself to wake up in the morning to drag yourself to class is very difficult especially because you know your parents do not know if you go or not. The consequences of not attending classes can put you on academic probation due to the suffering grades which can eventually lead to dropping out. In addition, attending classes occasionally can also impair one’s ability to grasp and learn the curriculum being taught. Because important information is constantly being forwarded, missing a class will cause an individual to fall behind in their studies.
While college gives you control and flexibility over your schedule, the hard demanding schedule, challenging courses, and the ridiculous amount of homework plays an important role in academic performance of a student. Unlike junior and senior high school college has a distinct form of overall class environment. The classes are in lecture form and because certain classes are only for several days a week the classes are longer than usual. The professors assign an assignment a project or both. The deadline for the assignment is usually a week or two away which might sound relaxing but, on top of that class assignment, one has other class work as well as quizzes and testes to keep in mind.
During teenage years the high school goal was to pass, now that we are young adults in college the goal is to succeed. As young adults we come to college for numerous reasons: to get away from or family/ parents, to make new friends, experience the college life, or even to start a new life, but the number one reason for coming to college is to further our education. In order to actually graduate college with a degree and start making money in the field you enrolled in takes commitment. Professors are not required to provide a detailed outline of the essential material in an exam or lecture as in high school. I speak from personal experience that studying and reviewing notes plays a huge role in passing a class. In order to want the grades one has to sacrifice and pull off lots and lots of study nights and tutoring.
Having the full authority of yourself and the decisions you make is awesome. Being a professional with a degree making tons of money is even greater. Instead of partying all the time take advantage of the way you got to college whether it was a full scholarship, financial aide, or out the pocket, by studying. If in need seek out tutoring because at the end of the semester when your final grade is an A you will see it was all worth it.

I am not saying my family is full of drunkies but we enjoy drinking. After everybody eats that's when the party starts. The beers and bottles come out, the music starts blasting, and the dance floor gets packed! These aren't all the bottles we drink some are missing some we don't even drink but, either way we get TwIsTeD!!!!!!!!!

Thansgiving Tradition

Well usually Dominicans in D.R do not celebrate Thanksgiving because of the simple fact that it's a American holiday but since me and my family live here we do. Any way as you all know my mom went away so, I went to Philly with my boyfriend to his aunts house. No matter where we go we always have: rice, turkey, potatoes salad, regular salad, chicken, pork, pasteles en oja ( a Dominican platter), and maybe macaroni salad. We are to fat to eat desserts. I love Thanksgiving!

Overwhelmed

I am so overwhelmed. I feel like I have so much work and will never get them done! I can't seen to write my comp and research paper and I have three end of the semester projects I have not started and I am worried about the practical. I know I have been slacking It's just that I do not find the energy to do anything plus when I stay in my room I don't do anything and when I am not in my room I cannot concentrate.

Music Test

I am studying for a music test I have tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning. The testes given in this class are very easy but, If you do not have a good memory or even memorization methods you are out of luck. You have to memorize sounds, places people, instruments, etc. On top of all that I enjoy the class.

BET AWARDS

Last night they gave the BET awards at 8:00 pm and I loved it. The awards were not all that great but Lil Wayne was. Lil Wayne is one of my favorite and best rappers ever. He is so sexy and his raps are off the hook. He performed twice and he got like three awards. He deserved everything he got. Soijah Boy also performed and I think he looked cute doing the superman dance with the rest of his dancers.

Kelvit

Kelvit sounds like a body part but, in reality it is my boyfriends name. I know I've mentioned him before but I have to write about him again. He is so mean! all he does is make fun of me and talk junk. I swear I am going to lose my patience and kick him in the forehead. but like I always say I Love Him :)

Believe it or not

I cannot believe that the year is half way Thur. It is so funny how time flies. I still remember moving in . Next thing you know X-mas vacation is here and than winter leaves and spring comes in. I just hope my grades meet the standards for next semester classes.

I love New York 2

I absolutely love this show. If you don't know what this show is about, it is a love game television show. The reason I like it so much is because some of the guys in the show are sexy, there is always an unexpectedly good surprise in the house and finally because this chick is sooooooooooooooooo dramatic and ugly. I am definitely not hating but this girl is butt butt ugly and she swears she's cute. But I still like her because she's real! all I do is laugh when I see it. You should watch it some time.

Mommy

You might be sick and tired of hearing me talk about how much I miss my mom and how much of a baby cry I am but WHATEVER! I talked to my mom tonight and she is doing great. Although I miss her I am happy she's having a vacation from all the drama she goes through. She even rented a car down there. She's living the FLY and RICH life out there good for her!

First Day Back

So my first day back to work was great. Because I just came back I'm not on the schedule so I am just a floater which is a person that helps out and makes sure everything else is complete by the end of the night in order to get out on time. Of course I had all the work done and we got done twenty minutes earlier. I don't mean to brag but I am the best.

Work

Today at 4:00PM I start working again. I am so excited, It's been two and a half months since the last time I worked and I can't wait to make money again. I work at the Highlands At Wyomissing a nursing home for wealthy old people. To be housed by doctors, principles, dentists, etc the place does not pay extremely well but I have grown much love for the place and its residents. I tell you tomorrow how my three hours of first day of work went.

Best Day In a Long Time

Today has been a "perfect" day. Well this morning after class my boyfriend came over and I wasn't really expecting him so I was surprised! well we went out for a little to run some errands and we came back here to school. We had lunch and dinner together which is funny because he doesn't like this food very much. It's been great even though we been in this boring room all day but oh well! I wish this happens more often because he doesn't really like coming over don't ask me why. We have our ups and downs but I Love him.

Visitation

It's funny how every time I bring my friends the boys more than girls are scared. They tough when it comes to street things but when it comes to school they punks. They always think I am going to get in trouble or something. I also think it's stupid how they have the policy of signing someone in to sleep over. Nobody does it, it's not like anybody is going to find out.

Thanksgiving at its worst

There are 7 more days left for my moms departure. I'm so upset because she's going to be gone for the whole month. I'm not really sure where I'm going to spend Thanksgiving at or with whom. I am happy I have a lot of people that Love me because everybody has invited me and my family ( brother, sister, boyfriend) over to their houses. I hope my father has a meal maybe we'll invite him with us so that he Isn't alone or maybe he could go to his ****** (plug in any bad word) girlfriends house but I don't think he'll go there because the *** (plug in any bad word) don't know how to cook OH WELL I guess they're having a T.V. dinner. No offence to anyone.

boring

I went to the little Halloween party the school held for us. It was horrible. It was so boring and the DJ was wack. Also I don't mean to be mean but the girls there didn't really know how to dance, I would of broke it down on the dance floor but my man was there and lord knows I can't dance with another guy whatever!!!! so I went with my home girl Katrese and let me tell you how the *****( plug in any word) left me. I went with my cousin, roommate, boyfriend, and Katrese. I'm really upset because besides the fact we had to waste a dollar I was in a party mood.

Finally Halloween is here! I feel like such a little girl but I love it. I just got out of class and now I'm waiting for my ride to go home around 4 something I'm going to get dressed up and go trick or treating with all the little kids in Reading. I'm looking forward to all the costumes and the party the school is throwing. I hope it's fun I just wish it were Thursday or Friday but whatever.

HAPPY B-DAY/ HALLOWEEN

TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN FINALLY THE DAY IS COMING TOMORROW IS ALSO MY ROOMMATE RACHEL'S BIRTHDAY. Why does it have to be so difficult?

Why does calling somewhere have to be so difficult? I hate pre programed operators! I am trying to call Comcast to pay the darn bill for our room because I do not want to waste a stamp sending it when I could just call, and it is so hard. Why can't they just have someone on the stupid line. And what gets me even madder is that they don't have a "representative" option so the dumb operator keeps repeating the same thing. I refuse to send the bill by mail, I have better things to send! I guess I am going to keep trying. I hope I don't go crazy and slam my phone because that won't be good!

SAW IV

I am so excited about SAW IV I absolutely loved the first two. I want to go see the fourth one but I haven't seen the third so this weekend I am going to have a movie night with my baby :) I don't think the movie is scary I think it's disgusting! but I stomach it. I CANT WAIT!

Rain Rain Go Away

I absolutely hate the rain! It's October why is it raining so much? I hope it's not this cold or raining on Halloween all my plans will be ruined. The rain makes me sad, down, sleepy. The only time I like the rain is when I'm with my man cuddling and watching a movie. But I'm not with him. RAIN RAIN GO AWAY COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY :(

Hanging Out

Wow

I picked up the car yesterday and I love it. There is a little problem though. It slipped my dad's mind to tell me it was standard! today he's going to teach me how to drive it. I'm nervous I hope I pick it up fast. I know the basics but saying it is easier than actually doing it.

The moment I've been waiting for

So my father has a friend that's selling her ex husbands car and I'm getting it!!!! It's a green Volkswagen GLS ( something like that I don't know about cars so I might be wrong don't laugh!) and it's in very veryy good condition I'm so happy. It wasn't expensive either. My father knows about cars and he said it's perfect. I love it!

Halloween

Halloween is coming and I'm sooooooooo excited! it's only 1 week and 4 days away. I already got my costume and it's a Gothic vampire, it's very sexy. I hope it isn't cold out because I have lots of plans. I have to go trick or treating with my brothers, sisters, and cousins it's a "tradition" than I want to go the schools Halloween party ( I hope it's the same day) than at night my and my bad friends go egging in Reading ( we're not ignorant about it!) and finally just chill somewhere.

MY Roomate

So it started out well! and now I'm gonna kill her. No really she's the best! she's really cool and I hope it stays that way. But lately she's getting a slight attitude and she's whining a lot OH MY GOSH!!!!!! she's actually sitting next to me whining like a baby cry but I love her! tonight she's leaving me and I am have to eat dinner by myself but it's okay because I owe her. TALK TALK TALK TALK

This talk was really funny. I love hearing people comment on all we talk about, they get so into it! any way ummmmmmm my thoughts about this discussion? well I agree with some people but than again I disagree with others so that's why I never say anything. I agree with the fact that we do need money and outraged people but us as kids don't look for the time to worry about those things. Plus the only time we do something about anything is when it involes us personally! like with the Katrina thing not enough people are involed because it didn't happen to them.

Open Mic

Last night I got invited to open mic in the crusader cafe, I got there around 8pm and stayed till like 9:45pm. I absolutely loved it! it was so chillin. They offered tea and coffee along with snacks such as pretzels and fishes. The perfromances were awesome. It was mainly guys playing their guitars and singing. There was also the girl that invited me and she shared poems with us. I would love going again, unfortunately it's only held the second or third Tuesday of the month. I'll be going next month and hopefully more people will go.

Mommy!

As I mentioned before I am a mommas girl so I talk to my mother everyday. Last night I talked to her and she told me to check the travel tickets to the Dominican Republic ( that's where were from) she has been nagging me to do it for the longest so last night I finally did. To make the long story short she's leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's leaving the 9th of November and staying for the whole month. I'm happy for her because she's finally going to get a vacation but I don't want her to leave. I was crying because I'm always with her and I know she's coming back but still. I swear I'm tough when it comes to people and the streets but I'm the biggest BABY CRY not CRY BABY. And to make matters worse she won't be here for Thanksgiving. My brothers, sister, grandmother and uncle are coming and I guess my father will go to my house but I've never spent a holiday without my MOM. What am I going to do. I seriously need to grow up!

Speaker

Karin Mallett the speaker on Katrina was great! I loved the subject and the five clips. It was very touching to see the way such a horrible thing could happen and how strangers care so much to go out their way to help. My high school Campus Minister at Holy Name High school left school for weeks to help out in the "convoy of hope trip" he was the one in a red sweat shirt giving a prayer. I really hope the people out there are still getting help.

NEMOOOOOOOOO

Last night was awesome. I went to the Sovereign Center with my 2 little brothers and my little cousin to have a little kids night. Disney's Nemo on ice!!!!!! It was so cute. The show seemed short but it was like 1 1/2 hours long. It started at 7 and ended at about 8:40. That place was packed. There were little Nemo things everywhere. hats, lights, cups, you name it. I loved it!

EZ

I am loving this day. I woke up for my 8:00 class which was chem and all we did was a model made out of marshmallows and gumdrops. It was an easy A. Now I'm in my room missing comp because the teacher was not in class, my next class is at 12! than comes Anatomy and finally FYS.

Edit

Blogging is cool. I would rather blog everyday than have to write a journal entry. Journals are boring! any way so I actually think that editing our blogs is a good and fun way to improve our writing. I say this because most of our blogs are written as if it were in myspace and I speak for myself. So editing what we have written helps us stop writing the way we speak.

HoRrIbLe

I am so scared for my practical. I don't understand why this class is so hard. I mean the bones aren't that bad it just takes a matter of memorization and practice but, the cells, that's just crazy. I think nobody is actually going to know what cell is which because I know what I see under a microscope is not what the group next to me in lab sees. I really really hope it isn't as bad as it sounds and I hope everybody does well because this is very important. Tonight I am going to study hard and tomorrow morning as well. I have to pray!

Yes, I'm From New York New York

I loved my 3 day weekend. So I finally got to go to New York which was great because I didn't go at all for the summer because I worked. I left on Thursday night and came back last night
(Sunday) Anyway I did most of my winter shopping. I got jeans, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, shirts, you name it. I love shopping in NY because everything is cheaper, name branded, and nobody got it! I stayed over at my cousins and at my grandmother's. You better believed I went clubbing and wild out. New York is the spot especially the Bronx where I'm from and Manhattan. I hope everybody had a fabulous weekend as was mine.

1. What are your irrational fears, and where do they come from?
My irrational fear is losing my mother. I love my family but, my mother is my world. I can not even think about not having her around. I already wrote a blog about this and yes I am a momas girl!!!!!!! and proud of it.

2. What if you could wish away your bad habits? Which annoying personal tic would you eliminate and why?
I do not know. I have no bad habits that personally annoy me I would have to ask my friends or family. What I do wish is to stop being so nice to my boyfriend!!!!!!

3. Should women obey their husbands? Why/why not?
Yes. I was always taught to respect a man, especially if he is your husband. There is a difference between putting up with s***** and respecting. Respect is one of the main objects to make a relationship work. Your husband is sacred, he is your family, friend, lover, etc. You should obey each other, not command each other.

1. Is America ready to have a black president? a female president?
I honestly believe most Americans are ready for a black president. however there are still many Americans stuck on racism and having a black president will make racism a problem once again. I do not see why a persons color has to do with running the United States. The actions and decisions the president makes has nothing to do with the color he was born with. If the president is going to make a bad or good decision he does not ask his color what it thinks. I love to hear the responses and comments people make on questions like this one. As to having a female president, I believe a female running things in the white house will make life in America much easier. Women are more responsible and make better judgement. This might sound sexist but I think its true.

2. Is America responsible to lead the fight against global warming?
Um... America is some what responsible to lead the fight against global warming besides the simple fact this is our home. I know for a fact nobody is going to get out there and start fighting. I say this because if somebody wanted to help the problem would of been dealt with.

Wal-mart

If you didn't know Wal-mart is the hot spot in Reading. If you are ever bored take a trip to the Super Wal-mart in Reading and you will see everybody there. It doesn't matter the time, date, or day. Last night me and my room mates were bored out of our minds so we went to Wal-mart to see my sister which works in electronics area. Any way they had these really nice shirts for like $8 and me and my room mates all got the same one. we're actually wearing them today. The shit is brown, tan, and has gold in the back. It says in the front " you shook me all night long" lol and in the back the initials AC DC. To my surprise this is a band with the lyrics to one of their songs. Oops! I didn't know that until my suite mate told me, Oh well!

What a difference

College is different gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's nothing like high school, not that I thought it would be. We got over the first month and We've had like no lie four essay papers due and two waiting to get done. I mean it's not that hard to write a three page 900 word essay but it is hard when you have other work on top of that. for example Human Anatomy lab work :( anyway I'll get over it I hope.

4 days

So we don't have classes on Friday. PARTY time. you know everybody is going to drink it up on Thursday. I won't be staying here I'm going to New York on Thursday. I'm going shopping I can't wait. I love the winter because of the coats, boots, clothes, I love winter clothes.

My weekend

My weekend was off the hook. I went to a party in Allentown and it was crazy. I was chillin with family and friends from N.Y I was loving it. I would hate to stay the whole weekend here at school it is so boring! Well I guess I am going to have to stay here some days because I am paying too much money to come to this school to go home all weekends.

Eight Below

I just left class and got to my room to find my room mate watching "Eight Below" It's a movie about some dogs left alone in the Artic after a bad weather made the owners evacuate. The man ( Paul Walker) after about six months goes back to get his dogs. There is more to the movie than what I've wrote. It's a good movie. My room mate is really emotional about it. She cries!

Healing hands

Have you ever gotten a massage that has put you to sleep. Well I have, and it was off the hook. I told my boy that he should charge to do it as a side hustle. I'll pay him! He calls himself "healing hands" lol

Its that time of the month

So you thought I was going to talk about the other thing! No I'm talking about a cold. This is the time of the year when the weather is acting up. It is really cold in the morning, the afternoon gets warm, and the night is a freezer. The cold is starting to get to me. My throat is done, my nose is starting to get stuffy and runny and I'm sneezing everywhere.

Fear

Whats your greatest fear? That is so weird how everybody has something in life they absolutely fear. Some fears are funny like the ones you see in Maury, chicken phobia, rabbit phobia, I even saw a women scared to death of other peoples hair lol. but than again some phobias are more serious like claustrophobia, or something thing like that.I don't know if this is even a word but I am deathaphobic. My greatest fear is losing my mother or grandparents. Don't get me wrong my sister and brother are my word and I love my daddy but nothing comes before my mother or her parents. I can't even think about it because it makes me cry. Isn't that something.

Food

The food in this place is so different. Some days it's good but most of the days it's horrible. I almost never eat dinner because it's disgusting. Most of the times I eat cereal, I give them that they have good cereal. I feel so sorry for those kids who live away from home. I live 10 minutes away from the school so whenever I don't like the food here I go home to a home cooked Dominican meal! YUM.

PaGOta

So I really like living on campus it's a new experience and its cool but, sometimes it's really boring! yesterday night my home girls and I were so bored we went up to Friendlys and than to the Pagoda. For those of you who aren't from Reading or don't know what the Pagoda is, It's a "tourist" attraction in Reading. It's a Chinese looking thing on top on a hill over looking the entire city of Reading. I always went up there to chill with my friends its cool but it can be scary. Once a boy got killed up there and there's stories about the KKK being up there.

BoyZZZZZZZZ

I don't understand guys! I thought that once you got to college you would meet mature men, not boys. So, all girls have probably experienced this once in their lifetime and if not you will. You meet a guy and you become cool. You chill, and not ever in your head do you think of him being attractive. Unexpectedly you find out the bastard is saying he's screwing you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or so they say. You don't assume anything but you ask. Mind you, you aren't accusing him nor are you saying you believe the rumors, he wildsout. Now ladies what do you do at this time? do you ignore him, try to talk to him? I tried talking to him but he now acts like he doesn't know me. I am not stressing it. So it makes you wonder, did he say it and is acting funny because he got caught!!!!!!!!! or is he embarrassed for thinking it, or both. oh well the funny thing is that if he were to have a chance with you now he sure isn't! I am definitely not talking about my situation. In the long run if this child gets his senses back I will be more than happy to hang out with him again. I have no grudges or hard feeling toward him. I'm a fly gurl(lol)! I have nothing but love just don't be stupid and say dumb things.

Music

So I did not know that this school requires you to take a music/art course. Well at the time, I am taking a multicultural music class and I think its off the hook! it's an hour and twenty minutes long. What we do is hear pieces of music from all parts of the world. We than discuss the sounds, place of origin, practices, tradition, you name it. The good thing about this class is that you kill to birds with one stone. You complete both your music/art requirement as well as the diverse course. I recommend it to anybody and the teacher is cool!

The Test :ox

So what did anybody think about the A&P test? I thought it wasn't that bad. It just took a little bit of studying. The only part I found kinda tricky was some of the matching. Overall I think I did pretty good, hopefully many people will agree with me. The other thing I liked about the test was that we had plenty of time to take it and we didn't feel pressured!

Boring!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe how boring that crusaders book is! I think books with no purpose should be banded from schools. Even if the book had an important purpose nobody is going to actually read it. The book is a waste of time for both the students and the teachers. Unlike Chew On This, Crusaders has nothing we as students can relate to, although I don't eat burgers I eat fast food so I kinda enjoyed Chew On This. I am so lucky to have have Mrs. Saad for comp and research because I know she's the only teacher willing to make this assignment interesting.

The FiRe

Okay so this morning for those who live in Clare Hall experienced the first "fire drill". It was terrible it wasn't even 7:00 a.m. jet and we all had to rush out the building half asleep. I have to admit it was kinda funny. You sort of got a sneak peak of what everybody looks like in the morning. People came out wrapped in blankets, hoodies over their heads, I even saw a couple people with no shoes on! We all stood in font of the student center for about 20 minutes. Hopefully we won't experience a real fire that early in the morning because I honestly believe we'll all burn, we looked like zombies! ;0)

This Is SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The discussion we had today was very interesting! I liked it even though I didn't input. I remained neutral because I kinda agreed with the comments every one made. But, to be honest I don't like discussions that 9 out of 10 times turn into agreements. I just sit back and just listen to what everybody has to say. I don't feel comfortable saying anything so I just make public comments or just keep things to myself. Personally I don't eat hamburgers and even beef so the talk about the cows was different just because of the simple fact that i can't relate to what the hamburger lovers feel. I think that someone should do something about the mistreating of the cows but thinking realistically that's not going to happen.

First Year Seminar

I hope this first semester goes by fast! One week into the school year Comp & Research as well as Multicultural Music by far are my favorite classes. Human Anatomy/Phys is the class that's going to kill me although I must excel at it for my major which is Nursing. I like all my teachers and the fact that all my classes are small enough to get noticed! I wish all freshmen GOOD LUCK considering we're all in the same boat.

Aliens

Does anybody other than me seen the show Rosewell? Im watching it right now after I don't know how long. For those of you who don't know what Rosewell is, it's a show about aliens. It starts with a UFO crash in Rosewell New,Mexico and the "aliens" living as normal teenage humans to find out how to get back home. Eventually the three aliens Max, Micheal, and Max's sister Isabell become tight friends with a girl named Liz who finds out their secret. By the way the whole crash alien thing really happend on July 2,1947.

Alcohol 101

I might not be the only one that thought "alcohol edu" wasn't the funnest course in the world. Although it took enough of my free time when I was finally done with it I found it to be very educational. As freshmen, and on our own for the first time, "young adults" tend to make unwise choices! DRINKING is that choice. I personally can drink and know how to control myself when drinking, but many others have a difficult time doing so. As a freshmen I strongly believe nobody liked taking this course but I speak for everybody in saying that the course did teach us something we never knew.

Week ~oNe~

The week is finally over, THANKS GOD! I think it went pretty well and it was not as hard as I thought it would be. But I know for a fact that Human Anatomy is hard as all ***. I met my roommate and I guess she is not that bad hopefully that will not change. The food is okay here and this class is my second favorite.

The Bridge

On Wednesday Aug.1 Minneapolis, Minnesota
witnessed as one of their major bridge, the I-35 came down like a sand castle. It's a mystery how such a bridge collapsed unexpectedly. However it isn't a mystery how the number of death toll will be raising. At the moment there are 8 reported dead, hundreds injured, and about 30 missing.
